First run and pilot work
Use this before a consultant opens the Agent. It catches the practical blockers: missing SAP authorizations, unclear BUKRS scope, no S/4HANA access decision, or no owner for reference-data approval.
Confirm readiness
Make sure the environment and project context exist before extraction.
- User can sign in, authorize the desktop Agent, and target the right tenant.
- Project, Stage, Wave, BUKRS scope, and selected migration domains are known.
- Team has chosen ECC Only, ECC + S/4HANA, or S/4HANA Only based on available connectivity.
Run the first pilot cleanly
Keep the first run narrow and easy to explain.
- Link the Agent to S4Ready Web before creating or uploading extraction runs.
- Test ECC connectivity, load org units, select BUKRS, and keep Smart Filtering on.
- Upload the bundle and continue into mapping, validation, duplicate review, and export.
